Course Overview

Managing people who use scaffold towers can be a daunting responsibility if you don’t know what good practice looks like. So, to comply with Work at Height Regulations, you must be competent to supervise work on towers. When breaching the regulations can have big consequences for managers – even prison sentences – you’ll want to ensure you are trained for the task.

This course can train up to 12 delegates and covers the following:

• Work at height responsibilities of managers.
• Standards affecting the manufacture and use of towers.
• Where to find crucial safety information.
• When it’s safe to use a tower, and when it’s not.
• Different tower configurations.
• Identifying hazards in the work environment.
• Risk assessments.
• Rescue plans.
• Carrying out pre-use checks and post-assembly inspections on towers.
• The components used in a mobile access tower.
• Good practices for the safe use of mobile access towers.
• Behavioural competencies.
• Preventing personal health hazards.

How long is the course?

The PASMA Towers training is a One-Day course. We ask all trainees to be on site for 08:00.
The course will start shortly after and normally finishes between 16:00 & 16:30.

Where is training held?

We run PASMA Towers training in our fully equipped Training Centre at Blackpool, Preston, Warrington, Manchester, Lancaster & Castleford. We can also facilitate through accredited providers either nationally on site, If you require on-site training please contact 0300 323 2022

What is included?

• Training manuals, Digital Certificate
• Registration fee to PASMA
• Photos and Operator Cards are all included in the cost.
• Candidates will be required to bring with them their PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
